HOW TO GET HERE

The most convenient way to get here from Manila is the Sikat bus and ferry service (around PHP 600). Sikat buses depart daily at 8:00 A.M. from the Citystate Tower Hotel in 1315 A.Mabini Street in Ermita, Manila. The Sikat service will bring you to Batangas Pier by bus and from there directly to Puerto Galera harbor by ferry.

If you wish to arrange your own transportation to Batangas pier, there are several regular bus services leaving from the major bus terminals in Pasay (Taft Ave corner Buendia) to bring you to Batangas pier. From Batangas pier, there are several ferry services available to get you to Puerto Galera town. Guarded parking is available at the Batangas pier. The last ferry will leave Batangas by 4:00 P.M.

We can also arrange to have you picked up by boat from the Batangas (Leah beach).

Important facts about traveling to Puerto Galera
The Low Season is when the winds change and blow westward into Puerto Galera Bay. There is more wind than usual, but there are also fewer tourists and less crowd giving you more peace and quiet to enjoy the tranquility of the island. The low season begins in June, and ends in September.

During High Season, the winds blow eastward of the island providing the best windsurfing conditions possible, leaving the beach pristinely clean and generally calm. It is also winter in the northern hemisphere, and tourists come in numbers in search of sun, heat, beach and party. High Season starts in October and ends in May.
